Default Anterior revision of a dislocated ProDisc prosthesis at the L4-5 level.

Good morning all,

I just wanted to comment on this article that Slackwater posted in the Article Library. I believe that this is a "must read" for ALL ADR recipients.

Stated in article: "Revision surgery (anterior lumbar interbody fusion with percutaneous pedicle screw fixation) was performed 2.5 years after the initial surgery because of the anterior dislocation of the artificial disc after the patient had engaged in heavy lifting."

I have read many posts within this community of people running, lifting heavy weights and just overall going back to their routines which caused them issues in the first place. I cannot say either way if this should be done or not, but I would definitely be leery about some activities.

Great job Slackwater!!!
