Anyone heard about this? It sounds like there are studies, at least in animals, showing promising results for injecting mesenchymal stem cells (from marrow?) into degenerative discs.

That post is about a stem cell therapy for repairing spinal cords. The articles I read from a quick google search talk of an intradiscal injection to reverse disc degeneration.
I first saw it mentioned on microspine's website--have an email in to them to find out if they are doing it on real patients, or are only contributing to the research that is preliminary to maybe making it a real therapy some day. So far, I've only found animal studies.
