Over the last 3 years or so I've been receiving a journal that I first read in my Pain Management doc's office. It's called Practical Pain Management ~ and below that says the journal with the practitioner in mind~ altho as a chronic pain patient I have found it very informative and interesting and it seems most of us here have the basic knowledge to understand what's being addresed in the journal or at least have questions formulated or answered by it.

The website to subscribe online is www.ppmjournal.com

Subscriptions are available free of charge to qualified medical practitioners in the US. I'm an NP and had stopped working when I subscribed tho still was able to get a free subscription.

I'll list below the topics on the cover in the 3 journals I have in hand now while I'm trying to clean up around here:

Volume 5, Issue 4 May 2005
Chronic Pain and Cannabinoids
Pain From Muscular Dysfunction
Lumbar Back Belts in hte WorkPlace
Spinal Cord Stimulation
Ziconotide for Chronic Severe Pain
Pain Treatment in Ambulatory Medical Practice

Volume 5, Issue 2 March 2005
Radiofrequency Neuroablation in Chronic Low Back Pain
Myofascial Elements of Low Back Pain
State Pain Laws
The ABC's of Pain
Temporomandibular Joint Referred Pain
Hospice Care Evolution

Volume 4, Issue 6 Novemeber/December 2004
Atypical Earache Otomandibular Symptoms
The IP Networks: A Case for Intractible Pain Centers, Part II
Pelvic Floor Tension Myalgia (PFTM)
Chronic Pain, Osteoporosis, and Bone Density Testing

Just thought this journal might be of interest to some...
