Hi all, this is not new, but really worth a look. This PDF is (for once) a visual pleasure as well as informative. Summarizes the findings of several individual spine surgeons in a recap of the 2nd Argos North America conference in 2003, delves into adjacent disc degeneration (for those who were recently asking) and then on to some really interesting technology. Names all over the place, for info. Tiff regarding ‘controversies between neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons’. Interview with Paul McAfee at the end. I found this super interesting and informative regardless of the date.

"This issue of Argos Spine News is dedicated to one of the major issues in spine surgery: 'Adjacent Disc Degeneration After Lumbar Fusion’"

• Focus on : Adjacent disc degeneration after fusion

• The role of disc replacement in the degenerative lumbar spine

• Kinematics of the lumbar column

• Upright, weight-bearing dynamic-kinetic MRI

• EOS: a high-potential technology in 2D and 3D imaging

• Interview with Paul C McAfee
