Default Practice Guidelines for Chronic Pain Management

The following is a link to a paper that was published in the Journal of Anesthesiology in April 2010. It is a great review of all the scientific literature about the multitude of pain management modalities out there:

You can download the PDF for free.

Default Can't download it - tho says I can

I would love to read this.

I'm gathering that there are armed camps that say "no narcotics" because of "opiate hyperalgesia" (well, according to Cedar-Sinai Pain Center) that seems rather cruel (but tolerance is an issue for me, true) and OK for opiates for chronic noncancer pain (but be careful). I don't know if I'm right but would love to see this re: procedures, etc. I wonder if the gamma knife is being used for rhizotomies and other stuff.

If you could *please* send me a copy of your PDF to bicyclettes@yahoo.com I would be indebted. (Hmm, wonder what it costs/yearly for this journal).

Thanks for posting this!
