I have taken differant types of narcotics over the last 20 years to help with the pain, all of them taken by mouth made me very sick and did not help with the pain. I thought that it was not helping the pain because I was not digesting it right. this last week they put me on a Patch and I still did not get any help with the pain and I still got very sick to the point of vomiting and bad headaches.

Has anyone else had this problem and did you find any thing that worked for you?

believe it or not high doses of asprin gives me the best results but I was told by my doctor not to take it anymore at that level.

the Med packs also give me great help but only lsat a couple of weeks and you can't just keep taking them.

Dave

Hi Dave,
With all the "Oral "Probs you have had I am surprised you have not been offered suppository medication -- - --thats quite common in Europe and is very effective - - -might that be a suggestion to your Dr?
Best
