My wife and I made it through the LA Traffic to my 14-day post-op check-up. All went great my incision looks great. But even better were my films at one point it was impossible to get into the radiology viewing area because everyone wanted to see. I saw Dr. Bray's Nurse Pract.(Bray lives in the OR) and Dr. Anand and Gart said, "perfect" great alignment, everyone was pleased. I have some leg pain that comes and goes but nothing compared to prior to surgery. Also, my back pain is NO MORE :brakednc: I have some stiffness but I would think that's normal. I'm starting to increase my walking and still just really taking it easy! So far so good, my incision does not even hurt and I'm off almost all my meds. I take, 1/2 Norco & 5mg of Valium and 100mg Clebrex in the am. And I repeat those at bedtime. I take 300mg of nurontin at night as needed. I will keep everyone informed on my progress, Take care Dano PS yes I forgot one thing, Lots & Lots of H20 and stool softener. I will tell you in the words of Cosmo---2356wsgwfv. Its a MUST!
Pipes are finally running well!!

Hey Dano.

Great progress report!! I left you a voicemail today but i see since you were preoccupied in celebrating your positive post-op check up that you were unable to return my message. No biggie. I am having my workman's Comp lawyer schedule me for a consult with Dr. Bray. Any ideas as to the waiting period?

heal fast!!
Zack

Way to Go Dano! I have found that if you have to go to the west side of LA for doctor's appointments that it is best to make the appointment for late morning if you can. Miss the morning rush hour which (for those of you who don't live in LA is 6 am to 10 am and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.) Also go with someone!!! CAn you say "Car Pool Lane!!!" If you ever need a driver or passsenger, I'm your closest volunteer.

Dano,
I'm going to run the idea by my Nurse Case Manager re seeing Dr.Regan for consultation. If it doesn't work then I'll do what CQ mentioned and do the $75 consultation/phone/email - and see what happens.
Glad to hear you're doing so well and that "pipes running well" feeling must be grand!
take care~ Maria
