I went to Plano,Tx. for my 2 week post-op appointment with Dr. Blumnethal. He did some x-rays of my L5S1 and he told me that the disc placement was dead center and everything looked excellent. I am now walking 2 miles in the morning and in the late afternoons along with swimming in between and my PT that Dr. Blumnethal prescribed for me. He said i was progessing very well and i am following his orders to the tee!. After the adr replacement surgery i had, the hospital released me the very next day and i flew back home three days later. I was already walking up and down the streets near my hotel i was staying at in Plano,Tx. during my stay. I would just hope that info like this could help others get there approval with there insurance companys. This procedure is far less evasive than fusion, less time in the hospital, and it cost less than a fusion. Thanks, jf110

What levels did you have done??? Did you have the ProDisc or the Charite? Does anyone know if anyone in the USA does ADRs at L2 and below?? I need 3 Levels starting at L2. This seems to be the "catch". Everyone I see has ADRS at L4,5,S1 and a few at L3, but no one has it at L2. ANYONE??

Maggie - Did you check your first post for responses (I know it's amazing and hard to believe, but I did answer you within hours of your first post) before posting the same question again elsewhere? Did you utilize the excellent search engine to find answers before posting them here? A little homework before asking a question goes a long way towards endearing you to the rest of us...and makes us much more inclined to try to help.

As with any other forum, when you're a newbie it's a good idea to kindly scan through and read appropriate FAQ's both in the FAQ forum category (pulldown menu - bottom of every page) as well as the bulletin board general FAQ's (located at the top of every page).

A search using "L2" resulted in 61 hits. Here's just *one* of those hits:
