Cindy,
I also have scoliosis, and have a 3-level replacement. I'm just over 1 year out. I have a similar "rotational deformity" as yours at L3-4.
I have some osteophytes that have formed along the side ligaments, but both Dr. Regan (my post-surgical care doc) and Dr. Zeegers (my surgeon) are not concerned. I don't notice any problems.........I still continue to improve slowly with time ever since surgery.
Has your rotation progressed, or is it stable?
God Bless,
Jeff

Hello...What I have noticed since the surgery is alittle bizzare. I had scoliosis pre operativly, and when they placed my implants, it straightened my spine perfectly. I had horrible spasams for 2 weeks straight. When I went into Delamarters for my post op xrays/exam at the 2 week mark, my spine had "fallen" back into the original curviture that was present before surgery. My spasams ended instantly and I knew my spine was done curving. Yep, and here it has stayed since then. I have had no more rotation or curve since. I hope your back does well Jeff, and I would sure like to see some xrays of yours too. I have only seen mine, and I get alittle panicked sometimes thinking I am the only one, and something terrible is going to happen.

Hi Cindee, just looked at your xray and your top disc looks similar to mine. The plates are not in line therefore not functioning properly. I have the prodisc also.
