Hi Randy,

I have been to TBI to see Dr. Zigler. Take this for what it is worth, but I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. Blumenthal. Hopefully, there will be someone else here that had more experience with him personally.

Hi Randy,

Dr. Blumenthal did surgery on me in November 2002 and he was great! He was able to fix the problem that was left 14 days earlier from ADR at L4/5-L5/S1 with another doctor. Some bone spurs got overlooked. I have had no problems with the back since. He has done a bunch of ADR's and he is a great guy.

Sincerely,

Linda

Bedbound from 09-06 until 10-08 due to severe pain and weakness
09-08 - Had Fibrin sealant done at L3/4 and L2/3 After 6 weeks - much success!
Hoping and praying that the lumbar revision surgery that was scheduled with Dr. Regan
can be indefinitely postponed

Randy, Dr B. is a solid guy (I met him briefly) and a surgeon with a good reputation. I am sure you saw the Q & A from last month in which he contributed too...see here if you have not seen it.

Randy,

I have met with Dr. Blumenthal and was also impressed. My only concern is his low number (so far) of 2 level procedures. For a single level he's probably as experienced as anyone in the US. Steve
