Hi Ernie
People tend to forget that sometimes it is the individual person's anatomy that makes the difference. However many tests etc you have beforehand it is at the actual time of surgery that the outcome is determined. Your weight, bone density, vital organ positions etc. I know this because I have discussed these matters with all of the top European surgeons before my own decision was made. I chose Marnay because my surgeon recommended him-that's all. I'm know they are all brilliant by world standards but it's also down to their hospital and the vascular/surgical team they use. I had my second two level lumbar adr 8 weeks ago today and just walked seven miles. Still got a few problems but not bad when I was referred to as a spinal cripple by my orthopaedic physician before the first surgery. Correct candidature and positioning are the crucial factors. Si 35 years of ddd 4 level prodisc France Dr Marnay |

There are some very good ADR docs here in the states as well as Europe. Check through all the listings posted on this site. JF110
