All I can say is what I've been telling Laura with her knee: Don't give up. Nothing is resolved by accepting unnecessary restrictions in your life. If swimming is a must-do for you, look at the swimmer's snorkels to see if they might work for you. They're probably not allowed for competition swimming but there's no reason that you can't use it to churn out the miles or continue to improve your speed. Another idea is to locate a Master's swimming class and see if they have any advice. It might be the instructor has dealt with the problem previously or might even be dealing with it themselves.

I've tapped out two additional responses but cyber space aliens gobbled them up!
I give up tonight....

Thanks again! I'll try again tomorrow.

Can your computer see the files on the CD at all? Sometimes, the auto-start doesn't work right and you need to start the reader program manually. If the files are visible and the auto-reader doesn't start, there's the brute force method we've used occasionally: do an internet search for a free dicomm file viewer and view the images with the free program.

If your computer can't view the files on the CD, I'd try another CD or get the office to burn a new CD.

The files are there... It just occurred to me that the CD is probably designed for a windows pc. I'm a long time hardcore MAC user.... I'll grab my husbands laptop.
There should be a download viewer I could use.. The company on the CD I'd Intelerad that should have been my first clue!. Sounds like a windows program.
Wonder what the Doctors who use iPads do?!!

There are quite a few dicom viewers for iPads, some are even free. Ironically, Osirix is free for Mac, but as an IOS app, it's one of the more expensive ones.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will have to send my files to ICloud, password protect, and then send a link.

Sound right?

Thanks for the info... No need for me to have the App for the iPad. I did discover that the was an auto run for a pc, but it was after I found the free download for MAC. Thanks for you help.

Can anyone explain to me exactly what is AMP vertebroplasty? I find very little information online, but it is mentioned on Dr. Bertagnoli's site that he uses it. Am I wrong in thinking that it can be used to "shoreup" weakened area that otherwise would not withstand ADR?

Still confused!
