Default Creating a Signature, Setting up Editing for Posts

All, in case you’ve not already set up your post editor, here are the instructions. This will allow you to have some really cool edit functions….like a spell check!
  • Click on User CP (user control panel)
  • Setting & Options, Click on Edit Options
  • Scroll to the bottom, to miscellaneous options
  • See Message Editor Interface , then choose “enhanced interface,” full WYSIWYG editing!
Now you can compose posts with the utmost pleasure, confidence and a plethora of emoticons. But you may have to download a spell check if you use IE; or you can just use FireFox! More emoticons are coming in the next 1-2 weeks.

As you trip across neat little ideas, or problems, please post them to this topic. Thanks!

Red face Guidelines

Here’s a gentle reminder to the community that the guidelines are easily accessed by a persistent link in the top navigation. Today, I had to admonish another member for calling another member an *******. The alleged offending ******* sent me an excerpt of the ******* offense via private message and email. As an admin, owner of this site, non-profit founder – can you imagine how much I enjoy doing this kind of admin stuff on a frequent basis? Seriously?! Not.

The guidelines were written to account for people that do not act politely within the culture of caring communities such as this – one that serves the needs of patients near and far.

So, I’ll date myself with a poetic message. Remember these lyrics from the Young Bloods? Try it on for a while. Geez.

C'mon people now,
Smile on your brother
Ev'rybody get together
Try and love one another right now

Lightbulb Create a Signature

To create a “signature” of your spinal health, follow these steps:

1. While on the home page of the ADR Support Community, click on the User CP link in the upper left; This stands for the User Control Panel, it’s near the spine image;
2. On the left-hand side, you will see Your Control Panel. Scroll down to Settings and Options, then click on Edit Signature;
3. Write a short description of you spinal history and condition, preferable 4-8 lines;
4. Then click Save Signature. Every time you post, your signature will be included automatically.

Also note: we encourage you to upload a picture of yourself as an avatar, this feature is also enable through a similar process under Settings and Options, just click on Edit Avatar.

Hope this help you with these features. If you enable them, it helps us help you!
