Looking for clinics outside of the United States that are performing Dascor Nucleus Replacement. I have a call into Disc Dynamics right now. Anyone have any ideas?

Mr Sutcliffe at the London Back Clinic in Harley street (London) was I believe proposing to start trying the Dascor as of this time last year. Whether he went ahead or not I don't know.

Hi Dylan....wonder if you could expand on that....at the time of your last posting you were rather ambivalent about the results.....have things improved ?

I have been improving since surgery,

before surgery I was 30-40% disabled

now I am 15-25 percent disabled

I am worse when it is humid out, and when I am working a lot

Dylan,

Thanks for posting. Does the humidity have an effect on your pain or discomfort in your back? Or is it more noticeable because you are working when it happens to be humid?

Forgive the curious question...

it is the humidity itself.
humidity comes with low pressure fronts which is the real cause of increased discomfort. During a low pressure front our bodies expand because of the decreased external pressure. This exaggerates
any existing inflamation - i.e. nerve roots.
Hence the myth of "I can feel the weather coming"

Dylan,

Just came across this posting and was curious if you would mind sharing a bit of pre-surgery ability versus now?

Can you enjoy going for a walk, maybe a jog etc since the DASCOR?

Dilan - where did you go to have the procedure done?

Thanks.
