His office called me back and left a message that he does do ADR and he takes WC. He is in the LA area and was referred by Dr. Bray's office. Just wondering if anyone here has heard of him or used him. I believe he is a Neuro Sur.

I saw him several years ago. I don't think he was doing ADR's at the Cedars-Sinai group then (maybe learning?) but he certainly is smart and a nice guy.

I know Dr. Lauryssen, he performed spinal surgery on me, I completely trust him, he has more integrity than any doctor I have ever met.

Carl may not have the numbers as Bray or Regan in ADR's but for some reason, I'd trust him. He seems fiercely intelligent - v. high level.

Carol, Bray hired him to work at Cedars and I know he thinks a lot of his skills. I have also seen him with patients in the office and he seems to be very nice.
I would not think twice about going to see him. FYI, Bray is inundated with surgical patients. He only see's confirmed pre-op pt's, as the pain management Drs. see you first or you are referred by another Doc. I just spoke with Kay to get a July appointment and they are booked till JULY, 29th. WOW, that is busy. This could also be another reason he is not taking WC patients.
Good luck with Lauryssen. Take care, Dano

Thanks all.....I called his office back today and they are going to get back in touch with me to answer some questions. I feel more comfortable after hearing all of your positive comments. I will let you know what happens.
Carol

Doudle Charite, I'm very happy and will go back to full=time work as a Firefighter/Paramedic in July. The only comment I have is stay with what has been well studied and placed in thousands of patients. Take care, Dano
