Epidural Injection for a Cyst - anyone ? please

dont know if this appropriate or not but it seems to be a simple question in my mind that i cant find the answer too on the net. Would a Spinal Epidural at C7-T1 do anything to reduce or remive a cyst that is on the right C8 Nerve Root ?
Or is this not appropriate it mya shirnk the cyst but would it not just come back upon growth ? I always bdebate with nerves - if that should be a Ortho or a Neuro although some doc's do enough of both even though trained as a Ortho I guess it depends on who it is as long as it is a spine fellow doctor. Anyone heard of this being done for this reason ? Any general guidance or experiences are appreciated please. thank you Jill
