I have had surgery in Austria by Dr. B. and I have a followup doctor here in Connecticut and my insurance company has paid all claims before and after surgery. I have a different case though with a fusion in the mix. They may even pay for the fusion even though it was done out of the country as an "out of network payment". I should hear any day now.

Make sure and check with your insurance company and get an answer in writing. I have BCBS, State of Texas and they will not cover follow-up for ADR problems. They will cover on-going PM issues.
