Harrison...my mother-in-law has Menieres Disease and she can't tolerate NSAIDS either, so it's not that unusual for someone with inner ear/vestibular issues it seems.
Cathy....I understand you wanting to research and go the best ADR/fusion route but your symptoms, esp the neurological ones, have me thinking that you need to make a decision SOON. If I had loss of bladder control and the other quite severe symptons you have, Id be having some type of surgery done real quick! The risk of permanent damage increases the longer you wait. I certainly don't want to alarm you....but that's my opinion. Good luck Cathy

Wishing you well but a dumb question: did you have any brain scans e.g. MRI or CT?
Agree w/Cathydownunder: You most definitely want them to rule out Cauda Equina Syndrome which is pernicious and requires surgery ASAP. My very best ~ Allan

Hi Cathy, Im a 53 year old male with similar probs. I'm light headed and sometimes I have Vertigo especially if I have to walk much. My Dr. sent me to an ENT and I haven't got the inner ear testing done yet. Next Friday I am having fusion and my Dr. wants to regroup to see if the single level fusion clears away the wooziness. I had a framinotomy done last Feb and the stupid Dr. took too much bone away for ADR. But at least I will only have one level fused thanks to my bone spur complex.
I have seen 6 neuros and sent film and symptoms to 3 other places for evaluation. Not many say anything when you start talking about this neck vertigo. Only a couple acknowledge it. I'm keeping y fingers crossed it goes away. I like what Harrison said to check C1-2-and 3 for upper disk misalingment. Get some xrays on C1. Montel Williams had his adjusted with a machine and his MS symptoms eased. Hope you're feeling better and more stable walking.
