Thanks guys! I know I need to update,the blog and I will do so before bed.

I'll be having an Activ L placed at L45 and a STALIF fusion at L5S1, based on the results of my ct scan and new x-rays. I have scoliosis as well as the facet at L5 on the right is pretty ugly, so the fusion is best at that level. Plus my disc is at least 85% collapsed. It is going to be an interesting surgery and I am looking forward to recovery!

You are amazing to update your blog on the day of surgery. Surgeons know more than anything I write. The hybrid surgery (stALIF and ADR/TDR) is OK++ from reading. The first person I met with ADR/TDR had a two-level activ-L ( L4/5, L5-S1) with Dr.Zeegers. He is almost 5 years out from surgery and amazingly active.

It's a long trip from where the conversation started. I'm glad you made the decision and I absolutely wish you the best, S-->
