I am considering having a Prodisc at L5 performed by Dr. Delamarter at Saint John's Spine Center in Santa Monica. He has told me that this is a 45-60 minute procedure. I am in excellent physcial condition other than needing to do something about DDD at L-5. The doctor has told me that I need to make a decision a.s.a.p. or fusion would be my only option.
Has anyone had this procedure done by Dr. Delamarter? Do you have any suggestions or recommendations? Would you choose this surgeon and/or the Prodisc? What are my chances for success?
