Hey Laura
I'm 10 weeks post/op ,one level charite L5/S1 My incision is about 6 inches and quite like a c/section scare but a bit higher it is covered by underwear and swim suits It is quite fine scar Although I have had a reaction to the stitches so one part in the middle keeps opening and having to be on antibiotics Best wishes Janie Ps Just e-mail if you would like any more info |

I know your asking about one level but mine is 6 inches vertical for a three level, 2 inches above the belly button, 4 inches below and about 3 inches to the left of it. I guess you could subtract 2 inches for each additional level and you might come up with a good estimate.

2-3 inches for a single level you can have a horizontal scar at the AK if you wish - - -you ladies!!!
A vertical incision is the "Usual" one though Best Alastair

Thanks Alastair, that's not bad, and I'll take the vertical.

Gee, I only noticed Alastairs response at first then noticed everybody else. What a variety of different lengths! I am going to assume body type and bodyfat levels are factors here.
Still sounds like I am looking at 2 to 3. Thanks everybody Andro1111
