Hi Randy,
I celebrated my one-year ADR anniversary recently, and my incision is still partially numb. It continues to improve, though slowly.

Hi Randy
I.m 4 1/2 weeks post-op and my incision is numb also at about 1-2 cm's each side. It's worse at the top which is the thickest part of the scar.
I also have a lump the size of a large marble under the top and bottom of the scar.
I imagine it's normal so don't worry.
I'm more concerned with how my scar curves around the navel before it heads down! Not pretty!

I am 10 weeks post op and I still have numbness as well on my left side that is quite large. I already had a scar there from a previous surgery a few years ago and it was never the same after surgery. I still had some numb spots. It doesn't bother me.

I am 2+ years. I can remember that it took more than a year for the "normal" sensation to return in the incision area.

Randy: congrats on your new hardware!

12 weeks and still some numbness. i was told it may stay that way due to nerves being cut.
