I would like any input as to the possible consequences of using an inversion table after a 3 level ADR (Aug 2003). The traceion that I get manually for my C-spine feels great and I m looking to hold off surgery-I have 2 discs out of place.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you and I hope that every is doing well.

Thelma

Hi Thelma... nice to see you!

What did Dr. Fenk-Mayer say? I'd trust her judgement more than ours.

I would think that the traction table could be pretty benign in shallow angles, but full inversion may be stretching the system..... but I don't really know.

In case some don't recognize you... Thelma is a 3-level ProDisc... now about 2 years post-op.

The answer about the inversion table may be different for a 3-level patient than for a 1-level???

Thelma,

I am scheduled for a 3 level with 1 fusion in December. I currently use my inversion table several times a day and am very interested in the response you get from Dr. B. Though I would think I'd have to wait at least 1 year, maybe longer, if I can use it in the future, I won't give it away.

Hope all else is great with you, Dale

Mark, thanks for the kind words. I have been followin your and some other folks progress. I do not post much because of my work schedule.

I will gladly post the response that I get from Dr. Fenk-Mayer.

For now the Omega recliner will help me get through the rough spots.

Best of health to all.

Thelma

Well we are all different, some people don't need inversion tables, and it would seem some people do -- -- -- whatever is good for you -- -- do it!
Best,
Alastair
