Hi Everyone,
I am in need of an M6 lumbar implant and would like to hear from anybody who already has an M6-lumbar , were they had it installed and by what Dr. I am currently looking into the Stenum Clinic, Dr. Boeree and Dr Clavel. Any information on your experience would be appreciated. John |

Hi John,
It's amazing that you've already decided on brand new hardware -- without any long term studies!? Wow. Any way, we've discussed the M6 quite a bit. I think most people like the kinematics, as they do appear life-like. However, I have big concerns about the materials and number of components. We've discussed this ad nauseum in many topics. I would never endorse Stenum for anything and never have. Please see the this topic as to one of the reasons: Stenum Hospital: Deceptive Practices & Copyright Infringement And of course, this popular FAQ: What is Stenum Hospital's Reputation? Review the many topics in the post-op forum. So many kind people have shared their outcomes. Tyler recently had the M6 implanted in the UK and carefully documented his experiences, imaging, outcomes and more. It's an "info-bomb" that will address many of your questions. John, finding an experienced surgeon that you trust is paramount to any successful spine surgery! In the mean time, please update you signature and tell us what other measures you've tried to address your degenerative spine condition. Thx for sharing and helping us better understand your situation.

Funny, I was just thinking about posing the same question myself, but more from an informational perspective (as I'm still aways out from actually having surgery). As Harrison pointed out, there's a fair amount of discussion on here regarding the M6, but the vast majority (what there is) deals with the cervical version (as the lumbar has only been introduced over the last year-ish). I'd also be curious to hear if there has been any feedback from M6-L patients, but get the feeling they're going to be few and far between for quite some time. If you do find out anything, please post or here....or feel free to PM me. I'm very intrigued by the design and anatomical replication, but also have questions regarding long term efficacy of the technolgy/materials. Thanks!
Alan
