Or Ready Or Not Here I Come! I leave tomorrow Sun for Southern California surgery on Tues. I have been full of so many emotions anxiety, fear, excitement, relief, joy and piece. I have been trying to not stay in anyone emotion too long.

I tried to back off the meds I have been taking this week and have to say that was a very bad idea. I got extreme headaches, nausea, chills and felt like I was getting the flue. As my Mom has always said to me it didnt matter if it was a birthday party, sleep over, spelling test or a ski trip you threw up. I can add pre-surgery to the list now. Getting warmed up I guess.

I want to thank all of you so much for your support, incredible wisdom and the friendships I have gained from this forum. What and incredible community we have. I could not have made it through without all of you and my faith in God.

I dont know many people in the LA area except those of you I have met on this forum. So if you would like to pay me a visit, visitors are more then welcome. I will be at St Johns Hospital and in an apartment with my family in Santa Monica until Sept 6. looking forward to some short walks along the beach.

See you all on the other side.

God Bless

See you Tuesday!

I can't wait to watch your stellar recovery. I'm counting on some serious ski lessons soon!

Party at Paulette's Beach house!... or at least lunch in Santa Monica before Paulette goes home??? Dan? Allan? Gary? everyone????

Mark

Paulette,
Wishing you the best of luck in your surgery. You'll do great. Santa Monica sounds like a wonderful place to recover! Take it easy and slow. Walking on sand is a bit harder than walking on regular ground.
Best,
Carmont

Paulette,
I hope I can get up there to visit you~
the moving process has me a bit worn out and I'm just in the serious packing stage now..
Maybe I can make lunch up that way~
BTW, now you join the "I've had spine surgery in So.CA. club".. (I've had 2 in LA)~ maybe we can have some t-shirts made up to that effect~
take care, Maria

Maria... Paulette is joining a different club than us. She'll be in the "My final spine surgery was in So. Cal" club!

See you soon! (at the lunch/party)

Mark
