Thanks for the link to the informative post!
I called TBI for an update and the patient coordinator just read me the Dr's notes: 1. Bone denisity was too low for ADR 2. Wanted me to see again the patient physcologist 3. See Dr again for possible 2 level fusion If I was to go back I could probably get add'l detail about bone denisty but a 2 level fusion is out of the question for me. Thinking of seeing a endrocologist to see what I need to do. Still having a hard time accepting my t-scores are that low. I have been going to the gym for several years and have always been doing some form of excercise.

I'd suggest a trip to a general doc first to discuss some basic blood tests. It's really up to you as to which is easiest and cheapest to get in to see but your general doc should be able to run a fairly extensive panel and give you starting points to check. For me, this is Jim with his fun medical challenges, everything looked normal except for the fact that I was borderline osteoporotic at 40. Our current best guess is that I'm very mildly diabetic and I was drinking too much soda in the morning and setting myself up for a host of problems. I'm way down on soda now and feeling better but if I'd reacted with the normal drug and supplement regime I'd be on some rather unhealthy anti-osteoporosis meds now and really messing up the rest of my health.
