Congratulations, Clint!

I'm sorry I can't offer any suggestions or experience -- I'm an envious wannabe at this point -- but I do wish you a safe, successful journey and surgery, speedy pain relief and a nice, easy-going recovery.

I'm sure you'll get great insights here. Please tell about your experiences along the way? You'll have the best of wishes with you throughout.

Jennifer

Greetings from Bogen. I popped over to Straubing this evening to have dessert with Clint and his lovely wife Deanna. He is doing abolutely fantastic. After a rough first day... he is kicking butt! Surgery was on Tuesday and he got out of the hospital on Friday. Anita took him and Deanna on a long excursion today into the alps!

I can't express how great it is to sit with these folks... so soon after their surgery... looking at huge smiles as they describe how their pre-op pain is gone! Don't get me wrong... he's still hurting from the surgery, but everything looks better than could have been exected at this point.

When I went to see Clint and Deanna on Monday night, I took Helen with me. She does not post on the forums at all, but she had a 3-level lumbar ProDisc today. I did not know how important our meeting with Clint and Deanna was until last night, when I overheard her talking to her family and friends on the phone.

Clint... it gave her such an incredible lift to see you at 1 week post-op... it let her start to believe that she could do that. She was very much at peace going into the surgery and I think that seeing you was a big part of it!

I hope that your return to California went well and that you are starting your return to life. Please keep us posted!
