Hello Spiney friends,

I am just checking in per request. It has almost been 6 months since my trip to Bogen, Germany and receiving 2 new cervical disks at C5/C6 and C6/C7 on January 12, 2005. It will be 3 years in October, that I received 2 lumbar disks at L4/L5 and L5/S1. I am doing really great. I have even gone water skiing a few weeks ago and looking forward to going again this weekend. I feel like I have been given a second and third chance at life! God has worked things out for me beyond my wildest imagination.

Best to all,
Linda

01-05 - ProDiscs at C5/6 and C6/7 in Germany - seems to be working fine so far
Bedbound from 09-06 until 10-08 due to severe pain and weakness
09-08 - Had Fibrin sealant done at L3/4 and L2/3 After 6 weeks - much success!
Hoping and praying that the lumbar revision surgery that was scheduled with Dr. Regan
can be indefinitely postponed

Way to go Linda! I received a new disk at C6-7 in Bogen two days after Linda. I, too am doing well. I moved a month ago and it set me back, but now I'm better. A real test was yesterday when we had torrential rains. Before ADR, I would have had a headache from hell and it would have lingered the next day. No headache! As people have told me, it takes time for the healing process to do it's thing, and it's so true!
