Exclamation Prodisc Contraindications

I'm really hoping someone can help me? Does anyone have a copy of the Prodisc info including contraindications from between 2005 & 2007? (I've read the current info from 2009).

I ask because until recently I understood that severe/degenerative/end stage facet arthrosis was a contraindicator for Prodisc where as now this no longer appears to be the case where as they still are with the Charite

I know facet problems have been discussed a lot with regard to ADR & some patients have not been able to go ahead due to severe facet problems
.

I urgently need as much info as possible including why Prodisc appear to have changed their protocol & if someone does have a copy of the Prodisc info from before it was changed last year then I would be extremely grateful.

Many thanks in advance

Hey Lyn,

I received your PM, but after I replied I received a bounce message. Perhaps you/we can confirm that your email is working OK - this is the error: "Mailbox message count quota exceeded, please try again later." Send me an email from your registered one for ADRSupport and we'll go from there.

Yes, the contraindications are described differently for many different reasons, as you know. We can talk more about it here and other places in the future.

Thanks for letting me know. I've noticed when looking today that I'm getting next to no email's compared to 200+ a day & it appears it's been that way since Friday but because I've only been online a couple of times since then I've not really noticed. I'll look into it & get back to you.

In the meantime I'd be extremely grateful if anyone can help as I really need the info by the end of this week. Knowing the people that were on the forum I can't believe I've not received any other replies when it's a problem that has been discussed on here countless times.

Thanks in advance

Hi again Richard

Well I've just gone through everything & have sent a test email from 2 other email accounts & it now seems to be working properly again. Obviously there was some glitch over the weekend as I didn't have to change anything. Quite strange!! Please re-try to send your email.

Many thanks,

Thanks, I received your email. You may already have this brochure, it was mentioned in many other places:

As to how any patients could possibly answer this question, I don't see how they could -- or if they should. This is obviously a very serious issue; I would like to find the time to query Synthes for an explanation!
