No teaser bits from Zeegers, not fair so say that in response to a surgeon who I know speaks his heart, not sales talk. Honestly I keep reading these agressive comments on this forum and am getting tired of it, maybe a little more diplomatic?

As to Dr. Zeegers:

I had a discusson with him about different cervical ADRs some month ago.
There was no mention of him having removed M6 ADRs. His comments as to my situation where as follows:
His preferred choice of cervical ADR is the Moby-C because in his experience after years of ADR surgery this disc has proven to be reliable in the long term with very few problems. Now in my case if the dsc space was too narrow for the Moby-C he would use the Activ-C as it is a more low profile design and there may be other considerations (no details given). But the Activ-C is newer. In regard to the M6 his comments where that it is simply not proven to him enough so it would be last choice but it seems promising but not proven.

He made no reference at all that he has removed a M6 from someone as of August 09.

Unhappy

Fuzzy, I was "aggressively" seeking to get to the bottom of this statement:

"...but Drs. Zeegers told me he's had to remove some of these, and that the LDR Mobi C is better..."

All I/we want to know is why the M6 devices were removed. Sorry you couldn't find out, but thanks for sharing your insights with the Mobi which is a smart design indeed.

I actually believe *he* has not removed any but I do not have facts.

Thanks Fuzzy, for following up. Jim or Dr. Z: please elaborate on this important topic so can get to the bottom of this. If we don't get the nitty-gritty details, well, everyone will make their own judgements (right or wrong).

If you have not already chosen a surgeon, check out my surgeon, Dr. Thomas Dunn, MD here in Las Vegas, NV. He did my ADR C4-C5 with ProDisc C in July.

I would highly recommend looking at Florida Spine Institute and Dr. Scott Webb at all cost.

You would feel much more at ease after getting in to see him and finding out how many hours he has in the OR, and how few issues he has v. success.

Please look into FSI before you lock into any one place.
