Default Unmentioned UK surgeons using the Spinalkinetics M6

Hi all,

I just noticed a few different people dotted around asking about people using the M6. It seems like the late Mr Nick Boeree who is such a sad loss of a great man and surgeon, Stenum and Pablo Clavel are the only people that get mentioned.

I'm not sure where worldwide but with spinalkinetics distributing in 17 countries I'd assume a few more countries are offering surgeons using them.

What I do know is this....the following surgeons over here in the UK use the device....

- Mr Chris Dare, trained by Nick Boeree Chris will be one to look out for. My own experience of him is that he seems very knowledgable and easy to talk to and by all accounts a talented surgeon. I've found some great reports on him.
Mr Christopher John Dare Orthopaedic surgery Consultant, Southampton, Hampshire, private hospital specialist.

Chris will be operating out of the Spine Clinic at the Nuffield Southampton.

- Mr Gavin Marsh, I know of a lady on the UK boards who had an M6L with him and is very pleased.
Mr Gavin Marsh - Spinal Surgery - North Downs Hospital

- Mr Adrian Casey, does cervical M6 Private Spine Surgeons for spinal surgery & spinal neurosurgery: Spinal Consultants at The Wellington Spinal Unit, private hospital, London UK

- Mr David Harrison, I know of two M6L patients who had this guy as their surgeon. Both are doing awesome with seemingly rapid recoveries. Also spoke with one of his fusion patients who speaks very highly of this surgeon. He is apparently very experienced in ADR.
Mr David Harrison, Consultant Spinal Surgeon

- Mr Peter Hamlyn - The Princess Grace Hosptial, London

- Mr Michael Schuberts

- Mr Kia Rezajooi

These 3 guys can be found here: M6-C artificial disc information

They use the M6c and M6L. Although I haven't looked deeply into their records the site is very informative. I'd have a read up on these guys if I was still researching.

Sure there's plenty more over here but not all so easy to find.

Although Clavel is now linked to Stenum I'd personally choose him in Barcelona over going to Stenum as I like what I read about him a lot more than Stenum in Germany although I'm sure they've had great results too from Ritter-Lang.

If I notice any more over here in the UK I'll post em up. Also if anyone wants links to patients of these surgeons I think I can find them fairly quickly again and post those.

Cheers

Zoticos,

Thank you for sharing this information. We know that there are many other outstanding surgeons that use the M6, but are not known here. I hope that these are outstanding surgeons, that some that come here will use them and that they will have outstanding outcomes.

Thanks again, Jeff

Global Medical Excellence, LIC

Have a look here AmazonPerry, I don't know anything about these guys really other than that Carl implanted the first M6 into an American...I think (M6c that would be as Stenum seems to say they did the first US M6L) I randomly found this on my travels. There's a story on that out on google somewhere. It looks like this guy maybe gets involved in trials and new technology a fair bit. Anyways Dubai it is.... Have a read of the link. Other than that I don't know any more.

I am not a fan of David Harrison. Think Tom Cruise as Maverick in Top Gun mixed with David Brent from The Office. My personal view is a great doctor is about true compassion skill and time. Not about flashy celebrity ego. I worry about recommending Mr Harrison because I wonder if he'd be there for anyone when the inevitable share of poor outcomes happen to him. I get the impression he's more concerned with his peer group celebrity status. When I chose a surgeon I looked for a man with integrity. I'm doing my duty to the less flash physicians by sharing this opinion rather than trying to trash Mr Harrison.
