Here is a patient's experience and journal. I just spoke to him... sciatica was unexpected, but getting better. He was saying things like, "I can put my socks on by myself now."

Hopefully, the patient will create his own thread in the Outcomes forum... I'll just put this here for people looking for Activ-L info... it's still pretty sparse.

He's still very sore and is dealing with normal post-op issues, but I hope to hear of a wonderful recovery... time will tell.

PS... note that Zeegers uses the Activ-L without the keel, whereas Bertagnoli uses it with the keel.

That's absolutely great diary Mitch -- -- -- keep coming back and telling us how you're getting on.
Mitch whats the difference wih this new Disc to the ordinary Charitee? Looking at your X-rays it looks as if there is no plastic disk in but a pivoting point in the centre????

best,
Alastair

hi Mitch

It was really extraordinary looking at your photos in the AlphaKlinik as I was there just 6 weeks ago! I thought everyone was wonderfully caring. Good luck with your recovery.

Vicky

Mitch,
Glad to hear (and see) how you are doing.
Here's hoping you have a tremendous recovery in the coming months.

God Bless,
Jeff
