Default Spinal Kinetics M6

Here's a site in the UK with references to some of the kinematics and other studies on M6-C done prior to its release in Europe several years ago:

I did email this company to ask if the US will get these disks.
Told them it seems crazy to fly from Florida to England to get a disc made in California. Bummer!

Here was the reply back:

Dear Vicki: Thanks for your inquiry regarding the M6 disc. Unfortunately, there are no M6 clinical trials underway in the US, and there is no scheduled start date for one. That may change in the future, but I cannot anticipate when.

I have corresponded with Greg at length (imagine how maddening it is for me when I can drive to their office!). They have lost funding, and have no signs of getting any. I told him I would be more than happy to be a walking advertisement for them and meet with funding sources with my SIX M6's, films, etc., to tell them to give Spinal Kinetics money so they can help people, but he thanked me for the offer without seeming to want to take me up on it.

I have half a mind to drum up funding myself for them!

Surgery w/ Dr. Clavel, 3/18/13, M6.
Before surgery: severe spinal stenosis C5/C6 (cord "flattened" per stateside doc), + for Hoffman's & Babinsky's.
At time of surgery: 5 yrs MAX before ending up in wheelchair.
Clavel found L5-S1 partially fused. Had to cut it apart to put in M6.
Please excuse brevity - SEVERE carpel tunnel.
