New Here and looking for Insurance Answer

I am new here and I am hoping you can help me out.
I have done the difficult part of choosing the best procedure then choosing the best doctor. I even went as far as fighting my insurance the whole time, but never won. The whole process took just under 10 months.
One week before my surgery date I found Laurie Todd. Now I am on the hunt to write this great appeal. I may be too late and I still may not qualify, but I am sure going to give my insurance a run for their money.
I am searching for people that have had their insurance pay for your surgery. So close to putting this very long chapter behind me.

Welcome, Amy, to our community. I can talk to you by phone this week if you would like. I appealed BCBS in Mass in 2004 (before my ADR) and was reimbursed later in the year when the Charite' was approved by the FDA. Perhaps I was one of the first in the state...
