Given I do not know much about Dr. L this has so many unanswered questions about it. I admit freely that I don't understand the American health system but to me, a Canadian, I'm doing a 'what the heck'.
What if you can't make it back on the plane?
If you can't make it back on the plane, who is expected to take care of you?
Your back surgeon has just left the country, if you can't make it back home who is familiar with the procedure he did?
And on and on and on
But this is my experience, -Dr. Bierstedt, upon my question, if something goes wrong, can it be rectified by a Canadian doctor?
He looked down, shook his head and said no, I'd have to see him again. Which is why I believe he is so insistent about the placement of the artificial discs.
