Boris, Condolences. I've read about the winter storm up there. You need to move further south.

Jss,
No condolences necessary. At minus -27C and no wind it was a breeze with my new back. My neighbors have snowblowers much larger, but they can't park the second car in the garage because the snow blower takes up too much room. We, wife and I, prefer to always have our vehicles in the garage. There was a pic of our 4 wheel drive vehicles. So at least we can always get out and back.
What sucked was snow blowing at minus -20C with the wind blowing when my back was killing me prior to the surgery.

And I was not able to post a video of myself riding one of my bikes that you can see in the background. Sorry.
But you got a pic of my snowblower and myself.
Maybe I'll try a bike ride soon. And now its minus 34C, balmy weather won't you say?

Harrison's site rules bar me from posting what I would have to say about -34C (-29F). Regardless, 68F in Dallas yesterday was a nice day; 37F ABOVE zero today will be barely tolerable. After church I have but one outside task today (in the garage actually), after which I will be safely inside my warm house, sipping coffee and watching the Packers wail the tar out of the 49'rs.

I think we're all missing the bigger point here. A BIG congratulations to Boris for being able to get out and operate a snow blower! Those of us that have had successful ADR's recognize the significance in that.

Congratulations Boris!

Boris,

Congratulations???? For being out in that snow and operating a snow blower! One year after your lumbar surgery!
I cringe just to think of it. I dislike snow and the cold that goes with it.
I'm a beach girl, I like it hot and humid with the sun beaming down and beach breezes in the air... But someone up north left the door open and old man winter is headed my way. We are predicted to drop from a balmy 65 degrees today to 14 degrees tomorrow night. I get cold just thinking of it! And unlike you I really do not have the clothes for it... Just please, keep the snow way!

Thanks to all for the encouraging words.

The day after ...
I have some muscle aches evenly distributed between my arms, shoulders, back and legs. Nothing that's going to keep me down.

At least I didn't have to clean the driveway on new years eve.
Temperature in Winnipeg as Cold as Surface of Mars [VIDEO] : Environment : Nature World News
I went to work that day and after that I reevaluated my cold day clothing regime.

Oh its -30C here now, I have to run out and get a few things shortly.
JSS, I'll be watching the pack vs 49's too, (if the wife let's me)
