The FDA has let the chemical agri giants run lose with GMO's so the article wouldn't surprise me as sad as that is. As a Canadian you may very well ask why I care what the FDA does? Because it seems to directly influence what the Canadian food and safety does. I am very impressed with, and hope the best for those states that are pushing for the labelling of GMO's. Because when that happens there it will flow into Canada as well. I want to eat food, not food like substance.

I have heard that the Canadian (health) does follow or, maybe a better term, has relations with the US system, there are a lot of guidelines, both sides that are similar.

Here in the USA, we need to repeal the entire health care act, allow 50 state access for ALL insurance, and TORT reform, this would allow enough competition, most Demos hate that term, but would drive down the costs.
