Good article. I've also heard of tart cherries (especially for gout), and more recently beef gelatin and collagen. I just bought some to give it a try.

About 20 years ago someone told me to soak golden raisins in (cheap) gin for two weeks, and give 9 raisins a day to my arthritic German shepherd/ Rottweiler mix. He weighed about 120 pounds. Not really sure why 9 was the magic number, but I followed the instructions and in about a week I swear it made a difference. He seemed to feel better. Never tried it for myself though!

Stem Cells. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a few years ago. Last year after having an upper Lumbar injection that I was allergic to, experience such excruciating pain throughout my entire body. Even the hairs on my head hurt. I couldn't move any of my joints. I had a stem cell procedure in July and about 30 days later all my pain discipated and now have no problem with the joints.

That's really interesting Colorado babe. Can you tell more about your stem cell injection such as where it was and any other details please?

Thanks!

I would love to tell you more. They took the stem cells out of my spine. Put them through a machine and than injected them back into my body through IV. I was told I would start noticing a difference after a month. Fortunately for me, I noticed decreased pain after 2 weeks. by the fourth month I was pain free. I have been off all medications for a month and a half now. Here is a link to the interview:
