insurance reimbursement

if one was to get surgery overseas is it possible to try and get reimbursed in the future from blue cross, or will they only reimburse surgeries done in the states?

I had my surgery done at Stenum in November 2006 and in January I was notified that my entire surgery was covered by Blue Cross of Michigan and the money was transferred back to my bank account. The amount was about $62,000.00 which I gratefully restored to the Terry and Betsy retirement fund http://adrsupport.org/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.
