I will be calling Prodisc (Synthes) in the morning. But was wondering if anyone knew of a list of doctors that perform ADR using the Prodisc C?
I need to see if I can find one that is in network with Aetna. As my insurance will pay 100% for in network doctors. I'm in Socal. And hoping to find one that has performed a large number of these in my area. Thanks for any help. |
here's the trial centers for the cervical pro-disc
http://www.spineuniverse.com/display...ticle2461.html typically you'd go see them since they have had the experience on inserting this cervical device. |
are you in LA or SD part of socal?
|
I am in LA. But would obviously travel to SD to save several tens of thousands of dollars! http://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif
BTW sorry for the title of this topic - meant to say "list" obviously. lol. |
I mentioned this in another topic. But the issue at present is that Dr. Delamarter is not in network for Aetna. Hospital and everything else is. But no one will say for sure how much they will or won't charge/pay for physician fees. Making it an impossible financial decision to even decide which Aetna plan to go with. Between deductible and max out of pocket it is at least $15,000 to $19,000. Unless I found someone in network with enough Prodisc experience that I trusted. Then it would be a flat $4000 ded/max out of pocket.
Thanks for the list. It's really going to help. Moadr |
Moadr,
I would call the following offices to see if they offer what you need: Dr. Bae accepts some insurance plans, unlike Dr. Delamarter, both in LA at the Spine Institute website: http://www.laspineinstitute.com/default.htm Dr. John Reagan (LA) commonly mentioned here but I don't know his website. Dr Westerlund or Dr. Peppers in Encinitas, CA website: http://www.coreorthopaedic.com/ If you end up having surgery in Encinitas...privately message me for some insight before going into surgery |
