Fishing after Lumber ADR?

Im 5 weeks post Op and feeling fantastic. Im back to work, driving, and chasing my 1 year old son around. Does anyone see risk with standing on the front of a boat to fish this soon after surgery?

Hi Z,

In order for us to better answer your question, as ADR patients, can you insert a signature indicating what kind of surgery you had?

Go to User CP (control panel, upper left link) > Setting & Options > Edit signature > Add 3-8 lines > Save

Regarding fishing, one concern (might be) what actions you may have to take in an emergency -- responding quickly to a problem may be very stressful to your spine?! :eek2:

I may chime back in later...

Five weeks is still well into the "surprise" phase of recoveries. That's the phase when you still could have the kinds of difficult and expensive surprises crop up that send you scurrying to the doctor or being rolled to the emergency room. Depending on what kind of fishing you're talking about this might be way too early. Deep sea fishing for big fish when you could be dealing with heavy seas is probably out.
