Aetna now covers two level cervical ADR

In a clinical policy bulletin dated 9/2/16, one of the largest and most "conservative" insurance companies has expanded coverage to include two level ADR for the cervical spine.

Here's the CPB, first section says it all: http://www.aetna.com/cpb/medical/data/500_599/0591.html

For a health insurance system that typically moves at glacial speed, the two level cervical coverage has seen huge expansion in the last year. Look at just the last six months (Cigna, BCBS Anthem, Aetna). We still have a long way to go, especially in the area of lumbar coverage and I'd like to think the momentum of this last year has broader implications of hope. May the dominoes continue to fall! :)
