Copying MRI's, XRAYS, etc.
I'm getting ready to send copies of my studies round the globe. I'm thinking I'll copy my original cd's to my hard drive and burn them back to another disc. Does anyone know if you'd lose resolution by doing it that way? Or if I should be doing something more official, like having a professional this? Should I maybe burn it to certain type of disc for better results. I'm so clueless that I really don't know what to ask.
I assume all of you who've sent records around must have come across the same thing. Any/all tips are appreciated! Thanks. |
Hi Adrienne,
I have burnt X copies of my MRI/X-ray without any problems and sent them around the globe. You should not have any trouble. |
Thanks Rosie!

You don't lose resolution but you can run into problems where the place you're sending them can't use the program or the files you send. We've had to use conversion programs to change the file types to something that can be read more universally. I hope that we're unique in that but if you run into problems let us know and we'll walk you through what we had to do.
