"As of 1/1/05 there's a Category II code for ADR's. Category II codes are used for emerging technology and data collection and usually turn into a CPT code." And a web site from the AMA: http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/cate...885.html#0075T Here's an excerpt: 0090T Total disc arthroplasty (artificial disc), anterior approach, including diskectomy to prepare interspace (other than for decompression) single interspace; cervical Released Jan. 1, 2005 implemented July 1, 2005 0091T Total disc arthroplasty (artificial disc), anterior approach, including diskectomy to prepare interspace (other than for decompression) single interspace; lumbar Released Jan. 1, 2005 implemented July 1, 2005 Hope this helps some of you... |
