My Doctor's Surgical Coordinator was told by the Charite Rep, that the major insurance companies (UHC, Aetna, BCBS) were meeting this month to decide whether Charite ADR should be removed from Experimental Status and be approved for payment???

Has anyone else heard this?????

According to my Doctor he was told by the Charite Rep that the Insurance Co's decided to review ADR longer and not to make a quick and hasty decision, imagine that....theres a surprise....

And after praising him here for taking up my cause, he decided to push back and let me take care of my own appeal due to the fact his practice has over 20 patients that were denied since December and his insurance coordinator didnt want to take on that many appeals...go figure.

Good news for some is the few WC cases he had for Charite, have gone through with no issues, paid in full....(here in NC that is)...

So Ive put together a 200+ page document to counter my insurance companies denial that ADR is an an "unproven service".....

Hopefully I have "Proved" it is "Proven"..hehe

I feel like I am writing a college term paper !! blah...

Well, that's encouraging! It's about time these people do the math!

It's unfortunate that the very positive comparison between ADR and fusion was not published earlier...this is exactly the kind of info that the almight beancounters need to justify the "expense" of alleviating peoples' pains.
