L2-l3 adr

Hello. I just had ADR surgery on the 27th of December 2010 at Cedars Sinai in California.Spent 8 days in hospital since the wife and myself came clear from Alaska for this surgery, Doctors wanted to make sure everything was under control before they let me take an 8 hour plane ride back to Alaska. So far everything seems to have went very well,Still having some pretty good stomach pain since they went through there to replace the discs. My back at the L2-L3 level hurts but it feels like it is just from the actual surgery the pain feels different than it had been before surgery.Just wondering how long it may have taken for anyone else to heal from this surgery type and how long before the stomach returns to normal? They actually did this ADR for me even after I have had a multi level fusion at L4-L5-S1.
So far my insurance has covered everything 100% BCBS is my insurance provider.

norwulf, it may take many months for the incision swelling to go down, but there are many things one can do to to reduce swelling and scarring. We've written about this many times, I hope to find the time in the next few days to create a FAQ on the topic. We now have seven years of ideas and comments on this topic.

But at 5 months, most of your swelling should be down considerably. Tell us more about your incision: size, location, distention, etc.

When you get some time, pls add a signature too. Sorry for the homework. ;)
