Advertising/testimonials for successful ADR surgery

If you were asked to participate in the marketing of a particular disc via personal testimonial, would you do it? This could involve being in a video or printed materials (with or without your picture).

To clarify..

And to clarify, I am not looking for someone to do this, but I may be approached for this and am trying to decide if there are any cons to participating that I might not have thought of.

Brandis, I would do it if you are happy with the results.

depends

I would want to wait a bit longer to see the long term outcome/success of my surgery first. I would hate to come out supportive only to have complications later and have them say well you gave such a great review before.

The end being to make others aware of ADR, I would participate.

Yes, I bring up ADR any time the opportunity comes up. I want to spare others from what I have gone through. If that is the end result; that is what's important :D

HA! That's a great point! ;)

I did it

Well, after really considering all of the struggles I've read from people on this message board about insurance coverage and having to take out massive loans just to alleviate their pain, I decided to do this. I talked with LDR and told them my story, and they are going to let me know what the next steps are.

I did consider the fact that I am only 4 months post-op and I may still have complications at some point down the road. But if this marketing can make a difference for just one person, I think it's worth it. Sometimes I feel like I need a "Ms ADR" sash or an "ask me about ADR before fusion" shirt so I can spread the word to those people who feel like fusion is their only option. ;)

really awesome

there is not much more to say. Let us know about the next step. Thank you for doing this!
