Have any of you had a fusion removed and replaced with an ADR? I had a fusion at C6-C7 on 4/2/07 and am now having problems at C5-C6. I am scheduled with Drs. Zeegers on 5/16/08 for a Mobi-C at C5-C6 and possibly at C6-C7 with removal of my existing fusion. Drs. Zeegers beleives my fusion may be unstable as my staple broke very soon after surgery. It fused anyways. I read a study in "Neurology India" that described the removal of an existing fusion as a rogue procedure performed by few but that those who have done it have seen good results.
