I have left thigh pain and my thigh is swollen. The neuro says it is nerve root damage/irritation that didn't show up on my myelogram. I am on valium, baclofen, and lamictal.
Does anyone else have left thigh pain post ADR. It has been sixteen months since my operation with Dr. B. I had three lumbar discs replaced with Prodisc. Fellows |
Hi fellows 21,
Welcome to this board, we have met before, have you e-mailed, Dr B. and asked to see what he says? Go easy on the Valium, they are highly addictive! Has this just flared up recently or is it an ongoing thing? Best, Alastair http://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif |
Hi Alastair
Yes, of course I remember you. This has been an ongoing problem. I have tried everything from botox injections, to Reiki, to epidural injections. Narcotics don't work on this particular problem, which is good because they don't agree with me. The nerve damage causes deep muscle spasms and circulatory problems. It has made m life miserable. The baclofen seems promising. At this point, though, I am skeptical about everything. Fellows |
Have a look here and see if that can help or have you been there done that?? http://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif http://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif http://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif

Hi Fellows,
I remember you from BPSG. Glad to see you again, but sorry to hear about the pain problem. We've got some smart cookies here. Maybe they can help. Jim |
Thanks!
