Cheapest Airfare may be from a Consolidator. They buy X number of seats at a set price. You will need to contact a Full Service Travel Agent and ask for a Consolidator Airfare. Problems with Consolidator Airfares is the seat are only available from the Large airport (or Hubs). If consolidator airfare is not available the cheapest fare is from the Airline directly. You may have to book a $10 or $15 booking fee to the airline, but by calling you may be a better choice of connecting fights. Each online booking agent will offer you the flights that are "best" for them and not for you. Good luck

Ms Em, good find! I was just going to post the usual web sites (Travelocity, Expedia, Priceline, etc.)

Consolidator
was good all but if you needed to change dates fees were high 325.00 before you leave 200.00 after you leave.we found booking directly from usair fare was alittle cheaper and fees were only 100.00
so im creating miles accounts and booking flights right after.
to many miles to not enroll my mother would shoot me if i didnt 8700 miles round trip times 3 tickets.

i had 3 level adr by dr b in feb 2006 and flew biz class and was very grateful that i did. the flight over was much worse than the flight home due to my pain level preop. the extra leg room allowed me to be more comfortable and on the way home when the stewardesses found out why i had traveled i got a whole lot of extra tlc. for what we spent to have the surgery, it didnt seem to be so bad to upgrade to biz class. as far as websites, i did it through priceline and got 2 for 1 but the dates are inflexible.

It's too late for Chasswen, but remember that flying into other airports and taking the train can save quite a bit of money over flying into Munich during its busy season.

http://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif oh well all is well
and direct flights i did chose airports near by 80 mile radius thing but kept coming up at 2500
thou i did find a good one i would have loved and was cheaper was a plane change in iceland for 19hrs
that would have been pretty coolhttp://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif
that ticket was only 2k each
seeing as after this i wont have any money to travel for a long time but hopefully my back wont hurthttp://adrsupport.org/groupee_common...icon_smile.gif
so all is good so far

Good luck with hotel costs. For us, travel costs were ~2/3rds to 4/5ths airfare, and all the remainder hotel costs, but then we eat cheaply and chose to do free things during most of our trips over. I lost all of the web page references when our computer died last fall, but there are a number of apartment/house rental agencies for Munich if you're over there for a month or so. Otherwise, there are a number of cheap hotels by the train station. It's too big city for Laura and I and the cigarette smoke in the crowds got to us, but I've heard that the hotels themselves aren't bad.
